Job Description:

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who excels in process improvement and quality assurance. In this role, you'll be pivotal in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and exceeding quality standards. Your expertise will drive production enhancements, cut inefficiencies, while maintaining quality standards.

As an integral part of our cross-functional team, you'll leverage your skills to solve problems, innovate, and refine our manufacturing processes. Your adaptability will be key as you navigate between engineering and quality control, becoming a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to and exceed established quality standards within the manufacturing environment.
• Identify and implement strategies to reduce production inefficiencies and waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Innovate and apply engineering solutions to refine manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Balance responsibilities between process engineering and quality control to maintain product excellence.
• Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions to align with quality assurance objectives.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operations.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure products meet customer and internal requirements.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses for internal review and customer evaluations.
• Travel: 25%
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior manufacturing engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior manufacturing engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior manufacturing engineering experience.
• 5 years process engineering experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Lean manufacturing and six sigma experience is desired.
