We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science and AI team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights and innovative solutions, driving forward our business strategy. You will leverage advanced machine learning, statistical techniques, and analytical prowess to solve complex business challenges, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-driven models and algorithms.

Responsibilities:
* Engage in the ideation and prototyping of new solutions to meet emerging business requirements.
* Design, develop, and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
* Utilize advanced machine learning techniques (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning) to create innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and software developers to ensure effective data collection, processing, and storage.
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, insights, and communicate findings.
* Optimize model performance, addressing issues such as overfitting, underfitting, and bias.
* Stay abreast of the latest in machine learning research, applying new methods to enhance model performance.
* Contribute to the creation and improvement of reusable machine learning libraries, tools, and frameworks.

Pay Range: $75-90/hour

Required Skills & Experience

* Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience
* Expertise in Python and proficiency in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
* Deep understanding of ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised learning, and deep learning) and their applications.
* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities.
* Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform for deploying big data and ML solutions.
* Applied knowledge in specialized areas such as NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and Generative AI, including Large Language Models.
* Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, time-series data, graph databases, and knowledge representation techniques.
* Experience or familiarity with data network visualization techniques to analyze complex data relationships and patterns.
* Fluency in advanced analytics tools, demonstrating a robust ability to perform complex quantitative analysis.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Demonstrated ability in data cleansing, preparation, featurization, and employing Agile development methodologies
* A track record of innovation and collaboration in developing data-driven solutions and insights.
- Oil/Gas industry experience
