Duties Include:
Oversee MRI Operations: Manage day-to-day MRI operations, ensuring optimal utilization of the MRI scanner, power injector, and other equipment, while maintaining adherence to facility and ACR standards.
IV and Contrast Administration Oversight: Perform, supervise and ensure proper starting of IVs and administration of contrast agents, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Protocol Management: Oversee and review the protocoling of all imaging orders in advance of patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and readiness for the departments workflow.
Comprehensive Patient Screening: Implement and ensure consistent patient screening procedures, addressing any contraindications or precautions, to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.
Patient Care Leadership: Lead the delivery of patient care services, fostering a compassionate, professional environment while training and mentoring staff on best practices.
Workflow and Productivity Oversight: Coordinate and monitor patient flow, balancing productivity, quality of care, and adherence to health and safety standards. Ensure the team meets performance targets and provides timely services.
Operational Supervision: Oversee departmental operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure smooth functioning and alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Conflict Resolution and Leadership: Lead the resolution of conflict situations as appropriate, while ensuring escalation of complex issues as needed.
Accreditation Process Leadership: Take a lead role in managing and maintaining compliance for the accreditation processes. Ensure the department is prepared for accreditation inspections, and oversee documentation and staff compliance with all required standards.
Continuous Quality Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and ensure that workflow and operations are continuously optimized for efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Compensation:
$100,000 to $145,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of MRI Technician experience
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
Washington State Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-Ray license, ARRT)
Advanced registry in MRI required
Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR required
