About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead .NET Core Developer with a strong background in software development, API creation, and application security. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in .NET Core, with at least 5 years dedicated to API development. This role requires hands-on DevOps experience and a deep understanding of OWASP principles. You will lead offshore development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the development of robust, scalable, and secure software applications using .NET Core.
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Implement and enforce application security practices, including SAST, SCA, and DAST, to protect software from vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, automating the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to offshore development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Apply deep knowledge of OWASP principles to identify and mitigate security risks in application development.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and insights.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Extensive Software Development Experience: 10+ years of experience in .NET Core at a lead or senior developer level.
  • API Development Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development.
  • Application Security Engineering: 3+ years of experience with application security engineering, including SAST, SCA, and DAST.
  • DevOps / CI/CD Experience: Proven experience in DevOps practices, including the integration of CI/CD pipelines.
  • OWASP Knowledge: Deep understanding of OWASP principles and their application in software development.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading and managing offshore development teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Service Now AVR or Threadfix Experience: Familiarity with these tools is a plus.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
