Lead Physical Therapist FT

Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead Physical Therapist (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitative of persons who have medical problems, health related conditions, or a developmental disability that limits their ability to move or perform functional activities. Physical Therapist also help prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility and promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles. Assist in program management and development responsiibilites. Some travel may be required in the provision of services between facilities and job functions. This position summary contains the most relevant duties, responsibilities and does not exclude other assignments not mentioned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be able to travel to facilities as needed
2. Membership in professional organization preferred
3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. Licensure in the State of Texas as Physical Therapist
2. Three or more years of clinical experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist
3. Must have and maintain current BCLS certification, according to unit specific needs. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider's Program.
