Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to support production and non-production environments This position will add value to a gamut of Software Development life cycle stages; participate in High Level and Detailed Design discussions; and co-ordinate with cross functional teams for successful go-live plan. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of North Bellmore, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires travel.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience as Platform engineer in administering, developing, debugging, supporting Linux machines on On Prem, Cloud Infra
Demonstrated proficiency in code deployment through Urban Code Deploy (UCD) & Rancher, version control with Git, and deploying code to mainframe environments, and leveraging Azure & Pivotal Cloud Foundry for cloud-native applications
Minimum 3 years of Experience with health care customers working on Claims products/applications deploying and configuring Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
Experience with ITSM tools such as Service Now, Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle & hands on automation experience with Unix scripting
Proven experience in Unix shell scripting, Ubuntu
Flexibility, Teamwork, Positive attitude and complete awareness on SDLC model.
Experience in Health care domain is additional plus

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
