Job description

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Python Developer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 2 years of Python programming
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or be willing to relocate to the area.

Preferred Python Developer Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in software design & development using agile methodologies
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Python programming (Python 3.x) using Django rest framework
• Must have 2 years of hands-on experience on Ansible playbook development
• 2 years of strong working experience on CICD tools such as Jenkins and Concourse
• Minimum 1 years of working experience on Openstack cloud automation using keystone APIs, Terraform & Heat-Template
• Must have at least basic networking knowledge especially IP/Routing protocols
• Working experience of Ubuntu, Linux environment and MySQL Database
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or VIVA
• Ability to work in team in a diverse, multiple stakeholder environment
• Good Analytical skills
• Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
