Remote- 2 years assignment- Must work on EST
Contractor must have computer, cell phone, and access to reliable high-speed internet.
Comments: Contracts Management Team oversees/monitors contract processes, guidelines, solicitations, proposals, etc. and works closely with contract staff to ensure compliance, terms, and conditions, etc.

Main Responsibilities:
  • 75% of the role is IDing and troubleshooting Salesforce platform issues, working with external stakeholders, and ensuring issues are followed up on and addressed effectively.
  • Work with enhancements implemented for solicitation scoring.
  • Solicitation input/intake process.
  • "First level of defense", act as bridge between function users/external proposers and technical team.
    • There are internal development to provide technical support.
    • There are templates that exist so limited reporting would be needed from this resource.
    • Energy background is not required.
    • Not a contract manager role (not working with contractual documents), rather Salesforce focused working with the platform. Perhaps someone who has worked with Salesforce platform in organizations that have worked for in the past.
  • Heavily working with people.
  • Input solicitation data prior to solicitation going live.
  • Systems Used: Salesforce (for issuing solicitations), Oracle PeopleSoft (contract and financial system), Confluence (knowledgebase, policy guidelines, task work orders), Microsoft Office Suite (Teams for meetings).

  • Oracle, Peoplesoft (NEIS), Salesforce, Tableau
  • Atlastian Suite: Jira, Confluence

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce systems (IDing and troubleshooting issues), modules for solicitation side

  • A keen attention to detail and a penchant for mastering and understanding details for the purpose of simplifying the landscape for others.

  • Proven experience working in contracting/financial database systems, Oracle Peoplesoft or Salesforce experience preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial or Management Engineering.
  • Project manager for support of staff and external users for the solicitation module in Salesforce, training and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in programs to identify possible Salesforce Solicitation and Mini Bid improvements, problem-solve, and overcome constraints.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues for other staff or external stakeholders.
  • Submit issues to the Salesforce team and follow-up on resolution of those issues including user acceptance testing.
  • Technical Support user issues for the Salesforce Solicitation Module.
