Lead Scheduler

Job Description

Leads and guides Practice Scheduling Associates in the performance of duties. Provides pre-surgical documentation for physicians and instructions for patients.

Job Responsibility

• Leads and guides scheduling staff. Communicates operating time, place and instructions to patient.
• Prepares patient chart for physicians' review the day before surgery.
• Responds to patient inquiries related to surgery; acts as liaison between the patient and physician regarding the surgery.
• Performs complex, diversified administrative and scheduling tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining and promoting efficiency within scope of responsibility.
• Provides feedback to supervisor for performance appraisals.

Job Qualification

• Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• 5-7 years of technical experience and 2 years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $41,780-$64,340/year
