TITLE: Lead Software Developer
LOCATION: 750 Canyon Drive, Coppell, TX 75019

JOB SUMMARY: Work as part of Mobile Operations team to support the Spectrum Mobile platform and users. Support, troubleshoot, and develop Spectrum Mobile buy flows and backend systems, including investigating, researching, and reaching out to backend teams. Coordinate with vendors and support teams on problem resolution, design issues, and upgrades. Use Java and Javascript to code, test, and debug new software and make enhancements to existing software. Analyze and develop Java solutions based on requirements. Develop technical documentation including design documents, run books, and standard operating procedures. Identify and apply innovative technologies to update existing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to improve application performance and functionality. Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components. Ensure effective monitoring and alerting for all critical services, infrastructure, and vendor connections using Splunk, App Dynamics, and Solarwinds. Serve as technical lead for support, troubleshooting, and development of Spectrum Mobile systems and guide software development efforts. Perform peer review of solution designs and related code.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience in: developing software using Java; and building and using APIs with Postman. 3 years of experience in: developing software using SQL; and managing applications using AppDynamics and Splunk. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
