How can you make an Impact?
The client is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with deep understanding and experience in developing mobile apps. These mobile apps are key learning tools for millions. As part of this team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing our next-gen mobile platform.

Responsibilities:

• Development to create effective and cutting-edge mobile apps that will grow our customer base.
• Design and develop high-performing, scalable apps for iOS/Android with unit and integration testing and app analytics.
• Consistently meet high standards of performance, security, and reliability for mobile apps.
• Provide best practices and guidelines to the team, implement design review processes to maintain high quality mobile apps.
• Can successfully plan & execute projects involve multiple developers and complex requirements, prioritizing strategically while being focused on technical decision making.
• Proactive in identifying and clearing roadblocks for the team.
• Collaborate with engineers on your team on feature development and bug fixes.
• Participate in the design and development of applications and services to support various business and engineering initiatives.
• Promote engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality, stability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability of your software
• Work with Product Managers and the team to groom the product backlog.
• Be a champion of the customer's voice and ensure our products are built with
  customer empathy at the forefront
  
• Trusted to always share status with all stakeholders, and proactively remedy
  communication issues.
  
• Leads delivery of major initiatives on clear timelines and share knowledge and practices with other teams.

Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would be someone with native iOS/Android experience and has experience in hybrid mobile development framework such as Flutter.
This candidate possesses solid engineering knowledge and lead experience with managing multiple mobile apps. The services you help develop will provide content used across K-12, Higher Ed, Professional and International segments.

• 6+ Years of experience in product or enterprise software development
• Proven technical abilities in software development, testing, monitoring,
  performance tuning and deployment pipelines.
  
• Strong hands-on experience on the full software stack including Frontend, Backend / API, Databases, and Infrastructure
• Executes pragmatically, consistently delivering high-quality, non-disruptive releases.
• Passion for engineering best practices
• Focus on application quality and testing practices like unit, integration and e2e testing, code coverage analysis and automated software inspection
• Strong sense of customer empathy and a commitment to delighting customers
• Ability to work across functional and domain boundaries to deliver software on
  time and with quality
  
• Demonstrated experience with developing on the Cloud
• 3+ Years of experience in product or enterprise software development
