Scripps Jefferson Clinic provides primary care, ob-gyn and urgent care. We invite you to join our highly engaged team as a Lead Sterile Processor, where we work very closely with the Surgery department in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Our leadership team provides amazing support to the staff, and the surgeons we support have great respect for the team.

As a lead you will perform the duties of a sterile processor as well as taking responsibility with daily department operations including staff scheduling, training, mentoring and performance management.

Qualifications
Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Completion of college training program for SPD or online study program or completion of formal on the job training program.

• One year experience as an SPD tech

• Knowledge of sterilizers, surgical instrumentation, and medical equipment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or CBSPD Certification

Preferred:

• Ambulatory Surgery experience
