An employer is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join their team in the Lake Oswego area. As part of their full-service engineering design and consulting firm, you'll lead a small team contributing to projects across various industries, including pulp and paper, industrial, power, and chemical markets. While serving as the structural team lead, your responsibilities will involve designing steel, wood, and concrete structures, applying US Building Codes, and ensuring project safety.

Required Skills & Experience

* 10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering

* 5+ years in Industrial work

* Substantial structural engineering technical knowledge and application, including concrete, steel, and masonry structures. Foundations and experience interpreting geotechnical requirements. Ability to perform seismic analysis and detailing including shear walls, and braced and rigid frames.

* Professional Engineering (PE) license

Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or a related discipline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in 3D/Navisworks or strong motivation to learn
