Responsibilities

Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in vascular diagnostic services.

  • Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
  • Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
  • Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
  • Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):

    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

    • One or more of the following:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cardiac-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Vascular Cardio credentialed from the

      American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree

    required.

Additional Preferences

  • ARRT certification required
