Lead Veterinary Technician

We are a veterinary practice looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician who is a leader, self-motivated, and skilled. We strive to offer fantastic veterinary care and customer service to our clients.

Hours: Flexible schedule - some Saturdays 9am-2 pm may be required in the future. We are closed on Sundays.

We are a small animal practice that values work-life balance and relationships amongst our staff.

We see all small animal including some exotics.

Located in a diverse community in an urban setting.

Some of the responsibilities are to obtain histories, collect laboratory samples, perform in-house laboratory testing, prepare surgeries, perform anesthesia, fill medications, clean, restrain and educate clients.We are looking for someone experienced and who can ensure all staff are given the skills to succeed in the workplace.

Some of the duties are described below.

Oversees the training of all staff in accordance with the hospital's Core Values, clearly understands and promotes our hospital's goals and vision, and that the above is known and practiced by all.

Oversee client flow to ensure that clients and patients are seen and treated in a professional, timely, and competent manner.

Assist the Practice Manager with the administration and review of client medical complaints.

Ensuring all staff is trained and upheld to our set protocols.

Requirements are to be organized, multitasker, courteous, customer service skills, a positive attitude and a smile.
