RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Telehealth is a growing healthcare delivery mode that facilitates access to subspecialty care and patients' easier access to outpatient care, resulting in patient safety improvements, increased employee capacity/satisfaction, increased patient access/satisfaction, etc.
Assist Virtual Health Director in directing the daily operational activities of the support team. Serves as the first escalation point for Field Services, Virtual Health technical and program staff. Manage other Virtual IS support staff, and VH assets and applications, as well as Virtual inpatient and ambulatory device management planning and oversight.

Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, installation and support of new and existing virtual health applications, devices and peripherals. Communicates with end users to determine needs, schedule work, develop and provide basic training on all hardware and some software. Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and on-call support in a 24 x 7 environment, by responding to, diagnosing and resolving hardware and application-related problems through discussion with users, delivering remote and in person, when needed, technical support for Piedmont Healthcare.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four (4) years of work experience in IS Field Services required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree from a recognized college or university in an IT related field preferred.
Experience supporting virtual technology end-points.
