Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead duties and assigning accountability for maintaining warehouse performance standards. Productivity, efficiencies, and teambuilding. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs duties same as a warehouse associate and working Supervisor.
2. Supervise warehouse personnel and assigns priorities to jobs and day to day activities; schedules staff to cover areas during employee absences to ensure quality standards are met.
3 Supervises receiving functions and processes to ensure established quality standards are met.
4 Manages inventory to ensure an accurate computerized perpetual system with 80 % accuracy against physical with stockouts and buyouts at department quality thresholds.
5 Performs functions of the warehouse associate 50 % of the time.
6 Operates electric pull trucks, reach trucks and walkies in a safe and efficient manner.
7 Communicates and prepares clear, concise records, reports, and other written material.
8 Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition; rotates stock as needed; performs cycle counts; disposes of trash, boxes and pallets; ensures the security of the warehouse.
9 Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
11. Files all pick tickets and delivery documents at end of shift
12. Puts stock away and fills in for receiving as needed.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience in receiving, inventory control environment.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
Experience in supervision and inventory control preferred.
Hospital supply knowledge helpful.
Typing, keyboard, and/or computer, data entry skills equivalent to 20-30 wpm.
Mathematical skills to record and track inventory.
Knowledge of inventory control systems.
Possesses interpersonal skills to professionally and effectively direct, select, discipline and interact with employees and other departments.
Sound problem-solving skills including deductive techniques to resolve issues.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
Well organized to coordinate multiple tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
Must be team minded and possess the ability & willingness to motivate subordinates.
Ability to solve practical problems of routine and non-routine matters.,
