The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University invites applications for an initial one-year, renewable non-tenure track lecturer position with possible subsequent lecturer appointments for 3-years and possible promotion to Senior Lecturer after 5 years. This 9-month, non-tenure track lecturer position will begin August 2023.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The applicant will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate students as well as assist in curricular development and the training and supervision of Teaching Assistants and service as per the Seton Hall Faculty Guide. The primary teaching assignment will be in General, Biological, and Organic Chemistry (GBO) including lecture and laboratory supervision on a 24-credit teaching load.
Required Qualifications:
A PhD in Chemistry or related fields is required.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in undergraduate teaching is strongly desired.
