The Department of Computer Sciences at Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) invites applications for multiple positions in Computer Arts, Animation, Science/Engineering and Gaming at the lecturer level, beginning in January or August 2024. This fast-growing department at AUM offers a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Science, and a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems & Cybersecurity.

All candidates should have a proving record or outstanding potential for excellence in teaching, commitment to service at both the departmental and university levels, and possesses effective oral and written communication skills.

Start Date: January 2024 or August 2024

Salary: Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Desired Qualifications:

Candidates must have received a terminal degree or equivalent prior to start date. Candidates with expertise in following fields are especially encouraged to apply: Object/character modeling animation & simulation (Unreal Engine, Blender, etc.), augmented & virtual reality, interactive video game design & development, embedded systems development (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry PI, etc.), cyber-physical systems, IoT, mobile & cloud computing, human-robot interaction, full-stack web application development (React.js, Node.js, etc.), and computer science/engineering education.

Master in Fine Arts ( MFA ) or equivalent is the terminal degree for arts disciplines (computer gaming)
