Job Duties

This position provides a full range of legal and administrative support to the Construction Unit's attorneys and paralegal and, as needed, attorneys in other Units and Sections. These responsibilities will include: preparing, formatting and proofing legal documents, correspondence and court filings; assembling, redacting and compiling documents in PDF format; creating, maintain and updating Excel spreadsheets; creating, organizing and updating filing paper and electronic filing systems; maintaining legal databases; managing litigation and Section calendar control for attorneys; and public records coordination and preservation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Applicants should be experienced with Word, Excel and Outlook, encompassing the preparation of litigation documents (including briefs and tables of authorities), memoranda and correspondence as well as the preparation and updating of spreadsheets.
  • Workload demands typing proficiency and strong proof-reading skills.
  • Candidates must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently, juggle deadlines and collaborate effectively in litigation deadline environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team player in covering the work of others when the situation demands.
Additional Considerations

Knowledge of construction or construction litigation is a plus, as is experience working with e-discovery platforms.
