Responsibilities:
  • Analyse the current state and future needs of our legal processes and workflows and propose solutions that align with our strategic goals and best practices.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Manage the configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Contracting tools, specifically DocuSign and Ironclad, and provide training and support to end users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance, usage, and compliance of our e-signature platform, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on the latest trends and technologies in legal process automation and e-signature solutions and provide recommendations and best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
  • Trusted advisor for system support and process optimization
  • Define and drive strategic and operational contracting initiatives together with the Contract Operations Manager
  • Collect and analyze data to identify root cause of process issues and challenges.
  • Format and deliver accurate data, using programs/reports to enable leadership to make strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and document organizational content, practices, and objectives, including for relatively undefined initiatives.
  • Develop creative solutions to solve issues or drive continuous improvement.
  • Be the point person for all stakeholders (customer, technical team, and PO) to make sure user stories are well understood, so everyone is on the 'same page'.
  • Groom backlog and perform other maintenance tasks that are standard to the BAs role within an Agile team.
  • Assist in development of year long roadmap for responsible technologies.
  • Educate business where needed on proper support model processes.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the legal domain.
  • Strong knowledge of legal processes and workflows, and experience with legal process automation and e-signature tools, specifically DocuSign.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use cases, user stories, wireframes, etc.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Scrum, ADO, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Expertise in legal technology, contracting workflows, and transaction management, with specific focus on E-signature (DocuSign) and Contract Lifecycle Management (Ironclad).

  • Hybrid Schedule - 2-3 days in office.
