The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and the Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan invite applications for a Lecturer position at 33.33% effort for the Fall Term 2024. This appointment is scheduled to begin on [August 26, 2024] and end on [December 18, 2024].

Responsibilities*
Duties of these Lecturer positions are expected to include teaching, developing course materials, evaluating, and grading students, and holding regularly scheduled office hours. A typical full-time (100% effort) load for a Lecturer in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts is three courses per semester. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Course Title(s): Decision Processes
Course Objectives: Primary goals in this course are to help the student do two things: (a) achieve an understanding of how people--individually and collectively--actually solve decision problems; and (b) develop an understanding of how people-- including the student him- or herself--could decide better than they would be inclined to decide naturally.
Required Qualifications*
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in psychology, or a closely related field. The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching in the United States.
