Our direct client is in need of a Level 1 Service Desk Technician for a contract to hire role onsite in their Rockland County office. The main role of this position is to assist end-users through phone and ticketing requests. This position also involves resolving issues with domain credentials, hardware, operating system, and software, managing shared software and hardware for the department, and tracking and assigning helpdesk tickets.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot support issues
• Review and assign incoming ticket requests
• Process documentation
• Monitor phone support requests
• Collaborate with co-workers and team meetings
• Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience is required for this role
• Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
• Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Experience with MS Office and Office 365 administration, including Teams and OneDrive
• Monitoring/troubleshooting skills
• Active Directory/Azure AD User Management
• Knowledge of all computer components and peripherals
• Ability to be part of an on-call support rotation and address emergency situations
• Remote Support Tools (eg. TeamViewer)
• Client networking skills - TCIP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi
• VPN client knowledge
