Level 2 Network Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Level 2 Network Engineer to join a client of theirs on a 1-week project in El Dorado, KS. This individual will perform a site survey and a server/storage refresh, ensuring enough rack space. This engineer will capture the below information while onsite:
- Rack Inventory
- Rack Space
- Rack Elevation Chart
- Cable Matrix Chart
- Port Space
The pay rate for this role starts at $21.50/hr and goes up based on certifications and experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF) and the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with others to resolve issues.
- At least 2+ years of experience OR a degree in Computer Science

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Any certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are highly valued.
