License Nursing Assistant (LNA)

LilyCare Hospice is looking to hire caring and compassionate LNA's to care for our hospice patients. The LNA/HHA works under the direct supervision of the RN Case Manager and/or Clinical Manager to:

-Assist with personal care of patient, i.e., bathing, feeding, bed linen care, mouth care, vital signs, transferring and shaving.

-Document in patient's chart.

-Follow infection control and safety measures.

-Assist with patient/family teaching concerning patient care and care for the caregiver.

-Bereavement activities as requested and/or able.

-Clean and monitor supplies.

-Attend and participate in staff and patient review meetings when able.

-Maintain and uphold the Hospice Code of Ethics.

-Keep Patient Care Coordinator/Nurse Case Manager informed of condition of patient/family.

-Maintain appropriate number of supplies at patient's residence.

-Provide emotional support to patient/families.
