Department: Day School Program
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hr/week - 7 am - 4 pm (summer hours same)
Hospital: Ascension Saint Vincent Stress Center
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Associate licensure is accepted, FULL licensure strongly preferred.
Eligible candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health therapy in an outpatient setting.
The Day School program supports all ages. Counselors for the program facilitate groups, in addition to individual and family therapy, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team that supports students in a classroom setting focused on addressing behavioral health needs.

- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
