As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative with Farmers Insurance, you're responsible for working closely with the agent to service customers and help grow the agency. You'll provide important assistance with everything from policy administration to renewal preparation, cross-selling and marketing coordination.

In addition, you will work under the direction of the Agency Owner- learning to solicit, quote, and bind coverage to help customers manage their unique insurance and financial needs. This position is designed to give you on-the-job training and development which will enable you to take on more opportunities for advancement.

Additional Duties:

• Provide timely and accurate feedback to client inquiries on existing policies with regards to policy amendments, billing, claims and upcoming renewals.
• Participate in the renewal cycle from start to finish; gather update account information, compile submissions and secure renewal quotes.
• Must be passionate about building customer relationships!
• Handling service requests, processing necessary paperwork, and answering incoming calls.
• All other duties as determined by Agent.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Proactively identify and act on cross-sell opportunities
• Provide excellent customer service
• Prospect and generate new business through leads and referrals

Customer Service Representative/ Producer Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license required
• Previous customer service experience is preferred
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Associates degree or higher preferred but will consider extensive sales experience over education
