The role you'll contribute: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient and/or assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN functions to provide and ensure the completion of activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel for that patient or group of patients. The LPN practices within the State, Facility and regulatory guidelines.

• The LPN is responsible for execution of the Nursing Process under the supervision of the RN :
• Assessment -collects patient health data
• Diagnosis - reviews the assessment data and diagnoses derived from the RN.
• Outcome Identification -identifies expected outcomes individualized to the patient.
• Planning - works with the RN to develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implementation -implements the interventions identified in the plan of care
• Evaluations -evaluates the patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• C urrent LPN GA license required.

• Current BLS required from AHA.

• ACLS upon hire or within 6 months of hire
