Make a Difference

The Surgery Center Plus LPN will be responsible for cleaning endoscopy cases, cleaning endoscopes, working in pre-op, and making patient pre-op calls. Performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates with RN on the plan of care. Direct patient care can include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, phlebotomy. Indirect care may include order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education. Collaborates with other team members to perform other unit services as directed. Community Surgery Center Plus is located at 7430 N. Shadeland Ave. in Indianapolis, IN.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
• Proficiency in IV Placement and phlebotomy required.
