This full-time opportunity features Monday to Friday day shifts from 8AM to 4:30PM, with some days working from 4PM to 4:30PM for clinical duties. Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture to draw blood, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Comply with all regulatory agency requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and PA Department of Health standards.
  • Administer various medications, including oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and IV drip, following established guidelines.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment interventions to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Assess patients' overall condition by taking vital signs and recording weight to monitor health status.
  • Adhere strictly to all organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment.
  • Perform IV therapy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Document all clinical activities, patient and family responses, and medications dispensed in the medical record while maintaining strict confidentiality.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing

Preferred:
  • One-year clinical experience

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Act 34

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
