This position will support Diversified Brokerage Services (DBS), a subsidiary of NFP. This position is responsible for ensuring that applications entered in our internal systems go through a complete quality review before being sent to carriers. Case Coordinators are also responsible for ordering exam and medical records. They provide assistance and training to advisors as needed during the digital application process via phone calls and emails. Case Coordinators accurately and completely document all case activity during the application or delivery process. This is a full-time opportunity available either on a hybrid schedule from our Minneapolis office or fully remote, working on a CST schedule.

  • Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the agency.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the products and services offered within the department.
  • Provide support to advisors prior to application submission (forms and application questions)
  • Maintain follow-ups to be current daily.
  • Receive and review new insurance applications for missing information, i.e., forms, signatures, policy criteria, etc., prior to submission to the insurance carrier.
  • When required at app entry, order exams/medical records (APS) through our agency management system (AMS) or adjust requirements if case falls into Accelerated Underwriting guidelines (AU)
  • Manage iGO support emails, phone queue and iGO troubleshooting.
  • Manage the ePolicy box and eIssue policies.
  • Assemble/prepare and mail policy contracts, electronically file documentation to case files, photocopy documents, run reports, and track progress.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned. May be assigned to assist peers with processing questions and at times mentor peers as needed.
  • Non-exempt position (hourly)
Experience:
  • High school graduate with a minimum 2 years in an office environment
