Job Summary

Soiled Linen production of linens for CAMC facilities and all other contracted clients according to required production output standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality production of sorted linens for the needs of CAMC and all contract-serviced facilities. • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn the position. • Maintain production output beyond minimum requirements of linen production standards. • Comply with all CAMC rules for health, safety and personnel conduct. • Maintain a clean and safe work area. • Exhibit flexibility to ensure all necessary functions of laundry production and distribution occur to be sure premium direct patient-care is not jeopardized by lack of linen.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Perform related duties as assigned.
