A boutique insurance defense firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic team! The role involves assisting attorneys in all aspects of civil litigation including trials, managing a caseload, and interacting with clients across various industries such as financial institutions, healthcare, construction, and more. Salary Range: $30 - $40 / hour DOE + bonus opportunities

Litigation Paralegal Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, or a combination of 1 year as a legal assistant and 2 years as a paralegal
• Paralegal certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and Outlook
• Experience with Cleo is preferred
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor s degree is preferred
• Experience in complex litigation settings is preferred
• Trial experience is a plus

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload with multiple attorneys
• Assist in trial preparation and during trials
• Handle general discovery, prepare responses, and summarize medical records
• Draft legal documents and maintain organized case files
• Coordinate and conduct witness interviews
• Administer and convert documents, including bates stamping and indexing
