Salary Range: $40, 000 - $60, 000 / year DOE

Litigation Paralegal Requirements:
  • 2+ years of litigation experience, specifically handling active caseloads in a legal setting
  • Personal injury experience is highly preferred, with a focus on plaintiff cases
  • Proficient with legal software tools such as My Case for case management and LexisNexis for legal research
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • While no specific educational degree or paralegal certificate is required, extensive practical experience in a similar role is essential

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
  • Manage a current caseload of 100 cases, emphasizing 25-30 active litigation files
  • Order and manage medical records accurately and efficiently
  • Set up and track liens, ensuring all financial aspects are handled with precision
  • Maintain an organized calendar and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Handle e-filing procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge of court requirements and procedures
  • Prepare for and assist with trial preparations, ensuring all necessary materials are ready and available
  • Facilitate regular client interactions, providing updates and managing communications effectively
  • Collaborate closely with other department members to ensure seamless case management
