Litigation Paralegal - Labor & Employment

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the San Diego office.

Job Description

• Provide litigation support to the Labor and Employment Group (LEG).
• Assist attorneys with case management from inception through trial or settlement.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Manage case files, document production, and witness summaries.
• Prepare deposition and hearing materials, including exhibits and witness outlines.
• Proofread and cite-check briefs for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate subpoenas, document requests, and litigation support services.
• Perform eDiscovery and database management using recognized review platforms.
• Maintain accurate and timely billable time entries.
• Work extended hours as necessary, including occasional travel for case support.

Qualifications

• Certified to work as a paralegal under California law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450).
• 5+ years of recent experience as a paralegal in California, preferably in labor and employment law. 2 of those recent years being in litigation.
• Proficiency in Office365 (Word, Excel), legal research databases (Westlaw, Lexis), and litigation support tools (iManage, CompuLaw).
• Strong understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Pay: $83,200.00 - $97,760.00 per year
