Locum APP *119442: Southern, West Virginia
  • Job Summary - Under the direction of the facility Medical Director, this position provides direct patient care to inmates housed in the county jail
  • # of inmates - 350 inmates in the county jail
  • Length of assignment - 3-month contractual agreement - possible extension
  • Schedule - Open to5/8's or 4/10's for Monday -Friday
  • Start Date - as soon as credentialing is complete
  • Credentialing - 2-3 weeks
  • prefer candidates to be WV Medicaid registered
  • Certifications - must have current BLS
  • EMR - Core EMR
  • Patients per day - ~15 - 20 patients seen per day
  • Type of care - mixture of primary care, urgent care, and chronic care.
  • Staffing mix - part-time physician, complete 24-hour nursing, leadership, admin, phlebotomy, lab tech, and mental health team (not Wexford)
