  • Responsibilities
    • Triage patients to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize treatment accordingly.
    • Provide immediate medical attention to patients suffering from acute illnesses or injuries.
    • Stabilize patients before transferring them to appropriate departments for further treatment.
    • Create detailed patient records including history, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes.
    • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Mentor and supervise junior staff members and medical students during their rotations in the emergency department.
    • Participate in continuous education programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health regulations, and safety standards at all times.
  • Qualification: A degree in medicine (MD or DO) with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
  • Certifications: BLS. ACLS, PALS
  • Preferred experience:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an emergency physician or similar role within a hospital setting.
    • Proficiency in handling critical situations efficiently.
    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
    • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
    • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
    • Empathy and compassion towards patients from diverse backgrounds.
