Locum Gastroenterologist * 120559: Southeastern, Texas
  • Must have an active state license
  • Certification Requirements: BLS, Board Certified or Board Eligible, Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Completed GI Fellowship
  • Schedule: May 27-31 June 5-7, June 10-14, June 17-21, July 1-5, July 11 & 12, July 15-19, August 1-2, August 5-9, August 12-16, August 19-23, August 26-30
  • Weekend call: May 25, June 14, July 12, August 9 (Fridays 12pm-Monday 8am)
  • Night Call: Mon-Thurs (2.5hrs gratis)
  • Assignment: work 5 days/week & every other weekend hospital rounding in General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient services performing GI related procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy with biobsy and cautery.
  • Shift times: Weekdays: Monday- Thursday-7:00am to 6:00pm, Friday-7:00am-12pm. Every other Saturday and Sunday hospital rounding
  • Duties: General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient Service
  • Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, cautery
  • EMR: Epic
  • Patients per Day: 20 in clinic, 4 to 10 inpatient
  • Support Staff: MA/LVN, Office Assistant, Practice Manager
  • Timeframe: Emergency privileges
