Qualifications -

• Board Certified - Gastroenterology
• Licensed - SC Medical, SC Controlled Substance and DEA
• MUST be comfortable with Moderate Sedation and be willing to apply for credentialing for Moderate Sedation

Assignment Details -

Expectation includes 24 hour call coverage for that weekend, and will also include seeing new consults, rounding, and inpatient procedures. Seeking new locum GI APP support to do a 7on/7off model, which will give locums APP support on the weekends. Volumes could be anywhere from 15-20 new consults daily on a handful of inpatient procedures each day during the week - volumes do tend to lighten up over the weekends. Endo lab is also closed on the weekends, so anything urgent that can not wait until Monday will have to be done in the OR. Anything routine in nature will need to be posted for the next business day in the Endo lab.
