Locum Gastroenterology Physician * 120684: Southwestern, Pennsylvania
  • Must have an active state license (July needs), not required for future ongoing needs
  • Certifications required: BC/BE, BLS, fellowship
  • Background Experience: Required, Upper GI endoscopy, with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde, cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic, gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry worked interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy, with biopsy, with excision of polyp, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), Liver biopsy, Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
  • Credentialing Requirements/Timeframe: 30 days (temp privs available)
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Scopes Procedure Need: July 15-19 outpatient 730a-4p, July 22-26 outpatient clinic 730a-4p
  • Work Schedule: GI Lab hours: 8AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday Clinic hours + call
  • Call Schedule: 5 pm - 5 am, 30min call response time
  • Inpatient or Outpatient: Both
  • Patient Volume: 5-10 inpatient consults per day per day only while on-call for inpatient serviBD
  • EMR: Epic
  • No supervision required
