Locum Nocturnist Physician *114790: Southeastern, Iowa
  • Float between two sites (site A, site B)

  • Certifications required: BC/truly BE IM, DEA, IA CSR, BLS, ACLS
  • Background Experience: Open ICU, vent management
  • Credentialing: 45-90 days
  • Dates: 7/19/2024 - 6/30/2025
  • Work Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
    • 14 -21 Shifts/Month
    • work 7a-7p onsite and 7p-7a tele
  • Specialties In House: ED, ANE/CRNA, Gen Surg
  • Telehealth Specialties: Pediatrics, ID, HOSP at night, GI, Nephrology, Neuro, Pulm, Psyc
  • In house hospitalist (night shift) completes 4 or 5 admissions on average. Some nights less, some more.
  • Call Schedule: No Call
  • Inpatient or Outpatient: Inpatient
  • Patient Volume: Site A: ~ 70-80 beds covered daily | Site B: ~12 ppd
  • Staffing Mix:
    • Site A: MDs on day shift, MD on night shift, RNs, Telehosp coverage 8p-4a every night
    • Site B: MD on day shift, Telehosp coverage 8p-4a every night
  • EMR: Cerner
