Job Description:

GDIT has an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst onsite at Ft. Cavazos, TX. Must have a current and active Secret clearance. Must have GCSS-Army experience.

How the Logistics Analyst, (AIE) will make an impact:

Prepare items for shipment which include duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products to support FSRs in the field that are servicing incident tickets submitted by the end user.

Strategically plan and manage logistics movements and warehouse.

Direct, optimize and coordinate full order life cycle of equipment supporting AIE system.

Keep track of quality, quantity of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

Arrange warehouse, catalog goods.

May assist with all processes dealing with inventory procedures to include; equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts and shortage annex procedures and relocation of equipment and materials.

Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Primarily POC for Customer helpdesk support. Will update support tickets and monitor email and phone for new tickets requested by customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

AA/AS, 5+ years experience (will consider other combinations of education, years of experience)

Secret Clearance Required

GCSS Army Experience

Helpdesk Ticket handling experience desired

Ability to lift 40lbs, operate a forklift, sit or stand for 8 hours and support working outside in non-airconditioned work areas.

The likely salary range for this position is $49,300 - $66,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
