Description

We are looking for a talented Operations Administrator to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Distribution Business Segment in Portland, OR.
  • Under direct or close supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records.
  • Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
  • Perform other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records, preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)
  • Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Experience
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehousing environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Must be detail oriented and familiar with MS Officepackage
  • Familiarity with warehousing/logistics operations
  • Documents and maintains departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other routine administrative activities as needed per the established procedures of the organization and/or department.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
