Job description

Position Title: Logistics Analyst l OE - Spares

Primary Function:
Perform a variety of warehousing, storeroom and material distribution activities using the ERP system along with Customer Portals and Freight Carrier processing systems.
Essential Functions:

• Coordinate activities with Customer Service, Procurement and other business departments to ensure availability of product and timely delivery of customer orders.
• Oversees and stocks materials, practices inventory control and accuracy, picking, counting, and packaging products for shipment, data input and material shipments.
• Responsible for accurately inputting data into the computer systems for material movement transactions. This includes SAP, Freight carrier systems, and customer portals.
• Oversees and prepares shipment packing lists and certificates of conformance for deliveries.
• Reporting adjustments (overage/under).
• Shipments made according to specified customer carrier - UPS, Fed Ex, DHL and LTL (Truck).
• Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the HSE policy and management system, the importance of conforming to HSE policies and procedures and consequences of failing to comply with the HSE policies and procedures.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required. Overtime as required.
• Promote and support the 6S culture by improving and maintaining the cleanliness, safety and organization of
the work area.
• Ability to use analytical problem solving tools.
• Must be willing to work overtime or flex schedules as necessary to business
• Able to work under deadlines
• Other tasks may be assigned by manager (including but not limited planning / purchasing activities).
Candidate skills & requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience with shipping and stockroom duties.

Knowledge/Skills:
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to work overtime if required.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs frequently without assistance.
• Use proper Lifting techniques with the ability to move, pack and lift heavy packages for shipment.
• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, squat, stoop, bend and kneel.
• Must be able to use a ladder.
• Must be able to accurately count (including very small parts).
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.

Physical Demands:
Sitting 15%, Walking 20%, Standing 35%, Lifting 30% (up to 25 lbs.)

Work Environment:
Fast paced, quick changing environment with a lot of team interaction. Manufacturing Floor.
