The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking applicants for a long-term substitute teaching position for a leave of absence.
Days 1-29 $150.00/day
Day 30+ $200.00/day
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience working with elementary students in a diverse, urban educational setting; background in reading, literacy or ELA.
Ability to work in a collaborative teaching and learning environment and have a continuous learning mindset; excellent classroom management skills; strong communication skills; desire to work with children and families.
Position runs September through October of 2024. May be extended based on need.
