HOURLY PAY RATE - $17/HOUR

This position is responsible for performing professional and technical work relating to occupational safety, and health and loss prevention/control programs for the company. The incumbent must also maintain controlled access to the facility and its surrounding property and any additional related duties that may be assigned to the officer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Monitor and control access to the facility along established company guidelines.
  • Monitors physical conditions of the facility and the activity of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established company policy for safety, health, welfare, and security in the workplace.
  • Analyzes and evaluates problems and potential threats to the workplace and plans response in a reasonable, controlled manner.
  • Serves as a "First Responder" in emergency situations.
  • Capable of working in tense situations and under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively interacts and communicates with employees and quests in a friendly but professional manner, while remaining focused and aware of the situational environment.
  • Document reportable incidents as required, in clear and precise written form.
  • Assist facilities team with building conference room set up, as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be able to operate and utilize available technology to monitor both facility and its occupants.
  • Have a background in military or law enforcement, desired.
  • Be mentally and physically fit.
  • Be able to focus, and to assign priorities quickly.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and have a strong desire to serve others in a low-key professional manner.
  • Be a self-starter that needs little direct supervision and possesses the ability to multi-task.
  • Have willingness to work odd hours, weekends, and holidays.
