Introduction

The Wisconsin Lottery's Sales Bureau and Retailer Management Section is recruiting for a limited-term Lottery Services Specialist position. This position is part-time and will work in person approximately 5-20 hours per week at both our Madison warehouse and our offices in the State Revenue Building on Rimrock Road.

Position Summary

This LTE Lottery Services Specialist position will work with the Wisconsin Lottery's Sales Bureau to maintain Lottery point-of-sale (POS) equipment inventory. This position will maintain an orderly equipment warehouse (clean and refurbish used lottery ticket dispensers, stock new orders, break down boxes, utilize a box cutter, operate carts and manual pallet jacks). This position will track incoming and outgoing inventory using Microsoft Office programs, assist field marketing supervisors with new equipment orders, and stage POS signage for pickup.

This position requires the ability to use a box cutter, operate 2-wheel or 4-wheel carts and pallet jack, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary Information

The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

LTE positions are limited to 1,039 hours in a 12-month period and do not include employee benefits. The position will work an estimated 5-20 hours per week.

This position is in pay schedule and range 07-04.

Job Details

The Department of Revenue will conduct a criminal background check, fingerprint check, and tax compliance check on all finalists.

DOR participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information for all new employees to confirm authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Experience tracking inventory/items using Microsoft Office suite or similar program.
  • Previous work experience completing tasks that required strong organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred, but not required.
