Under the direct supervision of a professional nurse (RN) provide nursing care within their scope of practice. Perform appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients. Works cooperatively with health care team members to maintain established standards of care.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience: (indicate if required or preferred)

Graduate of state-approved School of Practical Nursing required.

Previous clinical experience preferred.

Knowledge of pharmacology demonstrated by successful completion of medical administration test, preferred.

Successful completion of state-approved Intravenous Therapy certification course, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: (indicate if required or preferred)

Current license (PA) or permit to practice from PA State Board of Nursing
