Day to Day:

A large health system based in Atlanta GA is looking to add multiple License Practical Nurses to work at their Outpatient Oncology Centers across the Metro-Atlanta area. The LPN will provide direct patient care to an assigned group of Oncology patients. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area. The LPN must be comfortable being around patients with cancer or may be terminally ill.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* New grads accepted.

* Strong Phlebotomy/Venipuncture skills, very important.

* Graduate from an approved school of practical nursing.

* Current State of Georgia or Multi-state/compact professional license.

* Current, valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR and AED) Program card.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred:

* Intravenous (IV) lines, catheters and port experience.

* Previous experience in specialty area or acute care environment.
