LPN or RN Substitute Temporary

Join our team of dedicated professionals working together to provide education to the deaf or hard of hearing students across North Dakota.

Position Title: LPN or RN

Salary: LPN - $28.49/hr. RN - $30.93/hr.

Status: Substitute position will be on an as needed basis during the school year to include 12-week maternity leave. Scheduled hours will be up to 8-hour day shift.

Summary of Work

• Transport students to and from doctor appointments
• Evaluate student's medical condition, provide first aid treatment, dispense meds, and provide services to students taken to the doctor's office
• Provide information on physical and occupational needs to IEP coordinator
• Develop and maintain medical record system and sanitation procedures

RN candidate duties would include all of the above with he addition of supervision of LPN.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

Sign language skills and knowledge of deaf culture preferred
